Mouse Movement

After doing some serious Skill Sets on Arrays and Strings, it's time to have some fun. My ambition in this skill set is to have you create some art using Adobe Fireworks, and then animate the clips using ActionsScript. You might say "But it's a lot easier in Flash."

Yes, but this method allows you to program the transition of each clip.

Let me also share that these lessons were created by 2 of my hard-working grade 10 students. They both have graphic ambitions, so I challenged them with the following. Create programs that:

1. Have a shape follow a mouse.
2. Have an image follow a mouse.
3. Have an image follow a mouse with collision detection.
4. Create a delay for the image to follow the mouse.

I thought that these specs would tie them up for a couple of weeks. They were done in a weekend. Thanks Elliott and Graham.
